Hộp ODF 4FO hay còn gọi là giá phân phối cáp quang dùng để tập trung và bảo vệ các mối hàn quang, phân phối các đầu nối đến modem quang hay converter. Đặc biệt, cùng với vỏ hộp là khay hàn cáp quang được làm vật liệu nhựa có chức năng  giữ cố định các mối hàn với các cáp. Số lượng đầu nối quang adapter trong hộp phối quang ODF 4FO trong nhà sẽ tương đương với 4 sợi quang.
